What should one take into consideration when planning a date? What would usually be expected, and what is possible in this place?

Oh--America showed me this really cool thing with like, meat and bread and cheese and vegetables and all, and I've totally been trying to improve on the recipe! You have to check it out, see what you think~

The basic difference between America's version and Poland's version is that Poland's uses higher-quality beef, is on handmade rye bread, and the cheese appears to have actually come from nature, as opposed to whatever horrid abyss American cheese comes from. He also made soup, because it's winter, and he was really just trying to kill time in the kitchen.]

[Helping to move the dishes from the tray to the table. ...looking at the American burger.]

Like, I dunno, I totally didn't cross-examine him on it. The middle part's beef, and the outside's... some kind of bread. There's like, cheese on it, too! ...In theory.

...It doesn't really look like cheese.

[Examines it!] And it smells a bit strange.

Yeah, I totally know. It's like, kinda sketchy, isn't it? I mean, I guess it's okay as part of the whole, but... Yeah, I totes used different cheese on my version.

[Really wonders if he should try it... America isn't here so he wouldn't know, right? But maybe it doesn't taste like it looks... Anyway he'll try Poland's first.]

It's good... but what about a bit more lettuce?

The spices are really good. Are those all spices that we know?

[Poland nods cheerfully, then grabs a few fries and noms on them]

They're like, some root vegetable from America's place, sliced and fried in oil! He totally had them with like, a ton of salt and that red sauce over there, but I think they taste good with salt and vinegar and a little rosemary~

[OOC: They so do. Argh, now I'm hungry!]

Well, America like, called the vegetable a "potato"? So that's totally what I asked the pantry for. Then I like, sliced it into strips like that, and fried them in oil in a pan on the stovetop. I think America did it differently--he like, took them out of a bag in the "freezer" and baked them in the oven.

[He eats some more and then stops, staring down at them. Uh, there was something that he wanted to ask... Blush!]

[Poland has a very short attention span, and has by this time completely forgotten about any awkward conversations he'd been hoping to avoid.]

[Staring down at his lap why is this so hard he has known Poland for most of his life and been friends with him for most of that and you should be able to ask your best friend for help with that.]
