What should one take into consideration when planning a date? What would usually be expected, and what is possible in this place?

...I... [There's a short pause, and his voice is a bit stronger when he speaks again, but still trmbling slightly.] ...for a first date.

Poland? [And now there clearly is some worry in it.] Where are you? Can we talk for a moment?

[He shakes his head helplessly, trying to look the other nation in the eye.]

I don't know... But I don't want to hurt you.

[Stubbornly] When did I say you were hurting me?

[...Yeah, that's his pride talking.]

[He's lying there perfectly limp and unmoving, only looking at Poland.]

You weren't yourself. [And it was my fault.]

[Looks down at Liet, and feels guilty. He doesn't want to make him make that face, no matter how miserable Liet's making him. With a sigh, he lies down next to him, pulling him into a careful hug]

[Shaking his head slightly and then pressing it against the other nation's shoulder.]

[Strokes Liet's hair, and kisses the top of his head softly]

[Liet looks up and stares for a moment. This really came totally out of the nothing for him, so it takes some moments for him to wrap his mind around that concept.]

[Poland refuses to look at him, and tries to hide his blush behind a pillow.]

Duh, Liet, did you like, see anyone there making me do it? I... might have kind of tried it a couple of times at home, when nobody was around to catch me, too...

[Starting to turn red at the memory of that one time when he saw male!Poland in a dress.]

[He doesn't really know, just that he knew that it was wrong at that Poland would never do something that the church wasn't okay with. His next words are a bit helpless, trying to understand but just sooooo confused]

I've... I've like, talked to a lot of people here who say the church is gonna take it back, though! You know, like... kind of like how there's all this stuff in Leviticus and the Old Testament that we don't actually do 'cause Jesus said that stuff was written for the Jews and doesn't really apply to us anymore? Like... Like you know, saying crop rotation and eating certain food and cutting your hair was bad, and it was cool to sell your daughters into slavery and junk? I mean... the only place I can think of that talks about wearing girls' clothes was kinda in that same part of Leviticus...

And... I mean, I don't wanna just listen to what people tell me, but if the Bible doesn't really say it's wrong, and the priests are gonna change their minds and say it's okay after all, and... It feels good and stuff, not like something bad, and it's not like it hurts anyone...

Oh. Uhhh... The communicator... kindasorta turned itself on a little while before you came home that time, and like... I figured people would be mad at me, but everybody I talked to was all "no, it's totally cool, you look cute" and stuff! Like... I don't think all of them really count, 'cause not all of them were Christian, but I know America is, and Elaine--I mean, she's like, got wings, you know? And she just told me there was no reason to be mad at me or scold me, and nobody freaked out except you. Which is why I don't think they're lying when they say it's not a big deal in the future or whatever.

[Rolls over and stares at the ceiling, trying very hard to not think about Poland in a dress. Which is really hard while they are basically talking about that.]

I'm sorry, I... I just hadn't seen you like that before exceptforwhenyouwereagirl and I didn't know that you liked it so much and will- do you want to always wear dresses?

[It could be worse, Liet. You could be thinking of Poland in the outfits he'll think are cute 600 years from now. Gasp, he's showing his ankles! ...And his arms, knees, midriff, and most of his thighs!]

Well, duh, of course not all the time! I mean, I have wicked cute guy clothes, and I still like them, it's just... I wanna wear other stuff, too. Sometimes.

[By then, Liet won't care so much about that anymore. If anything he'll worry because THAT is something that you DON'T wear out in the snow.

I guess it's your decision, and you know better what the church allows and what not and if you want to... If it makes you happy... I certainly won't tell you not to.
