Is there a Christian priest in this place?

America wanted his people to have religious freedom. Christianity starts to change a lot, it takes different branches [heck yeah, Martin Luther.] after people start to doubt the infallibility of the Pope. They wanted to have a more personal connection to God, and felt they didn't need a go-between, and could pray on their own. This, of course, put the new form, Protestantism (and it's subsequent variations) in direct conflict with Catholicism, which caused a lot of tensions. Bohemia defenestrated a couple of Catholics who had been elected, in protest at one point. Wars were started. As time went on, it just got more and more ridiculous to be fighting over those things. People moved, and more and more countries had to accommodate for various religions. But it took a long time, for places to get complete religious freedom. I suppose it's ultimately human nature to be prejudiced against others, and religion is just one of those things they can use.

...That really sounds like a lot of change. Does that mean that there are no nations like the Teutonic Order anymore?

The Teutonic Order is Prussia, but to answer your question no.

He has changed what he is.

...it is good to hear that.

I doubt you'll find a priest here, though.

I already found one, but thank you for your concern.

That's good, then.
