[He's looking older now than he did before, maybe 17. His face is also a bit harder, more ...let's say imperial than he used to be. But he's still the same basically, and now he is his angry self, despite trying to hide it. His sword is at his side, right next to a gun - he doesn't remember how to use it, but was shown that the last time that he was here and just hopes that the memory will come back at him when needed.]

To make this partition of the mansion complete, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania lays claim on floors five and six. The territory of the Islamic Republics of Pakistan and Afghanistan are under my protection.

[Have what looks very much like a teeny little girl-child, curled up in the same room that Lithuania made the post from and sulking at the screen.]

Like, what's funny about that? Litwo's strong. He like, says we're really strong together when we grow up!

[Reaching out to pull Poland in his lap and hug him, but his hand stops halfway and hangs in the air, unmoving.]

Yeah, totally!

[Poland glances back at Liet, and at his hand hanging there.]

...What's up?

[He smiles sheepishly and drops the hand into his lap.]

I'm never sure if I'm allowed to touch you or not while you are like this.

[Poland pauses to consider this. Well... He's sort of thrown in his lot with Litwo, he supposes. He's already trusting him to protect him, in spite of what the other man said. So... He might as well trust that his intentions are good.]

[Looking extremely shy and a little nervous, he climbs up into the bigger nation's lap of his own accord, snuggling against him.]

It... um, it's like, cool, I guess. If you're not gonna do anything creepy.

[Lithuania hesitates for a moment before he wraps his arms around the smaller boy loosely, resting his chin on top of Poland's head.]

I wouldn't do anything to you that you wouldn't want me to do. I just want to keep you safe and happy. And we are really good friends in my time, it's strange for it to be different now.

[He squirms until he gets comfortable, wrapping his arms loosely around Lithuania's chest]

...Okay. You're... you're like, allowed to, then. I mean, like, to try and keep me safe and stuff.

[Because he really, really needs to feel like someone's protecting him, right now, and if his boss and his knights aren't here to... Lithuania feels really big and strong and safe. And as a scared child, Poland isn't above clinging to that.]

Just please don't leave my side.

[His mouth settles into a grim line for a moment.]

It's not safe out there.

[Nods softly, shaking a little.]

Yeah, I totally figured that out... What if I'm like, hungry, though? Or bored?

Just tell me, and we'll get food together... And we can try to find something that we can do together, too, if you're bored.

And you like, won't let anyone else get me, right?

I won't. Not if I can do anything about it.

[He nods. Remembering that the recorder is still on, he reaches over to turn it off before snuggling back down in Liet's arms. For a few seconds, he's quiet, like he's trying to work up the nerve to say something.]

...Um. Like.

...How come you still want to protect me, even after... even after what happened? I'm like, dirty now, and...

You are still my best friend - will be my best friend, whichever you choose. We have fought a lot of battles together, and ...you are closer to my heart and soul than I thought that any earthly being could ever become. And I will always try to protect you. [He tilts his head forward, so his bangs can fall forward and hide his eyes.] Even more now that I've already failed you once.

[Poland considers that for a few seconds, then leans up (way up) to nuzzle Liet's cheek comfortingly.]

...It's like, not your fault, you know. I mean. Like. Y-You didn't do any of the bad things the man said you did, but I believed him and went away by myself... So it's not like you weren't trying hard enough or something.

I shouldn't have let you go.

[Worrying himself sick. He's not nearly as good at that as he'll be later on, but you can clearly see the potential.]

I shouldn't have left your side, even more after- [Hugging Poland tight] I'm sorry.

[Pats his back, a little awkwardly]

You're like, kinda squishing me, Litwo.

[And if he were more comfortable admitting his insecurities, "kinda squishing" is a little too much like "pinning down" right now. He wants to be held, but not too close.]

Um... like, after what, exactly? You said you failed me before, but I totally don't ever remember...

[Letting go the moment he realizes what he's going, and shaking his head lightly.]

No, no, not that. I meant, it wouldn't happen a second time, I won't let it happen a second time.

[Not good at lying to Poland, but trying. There are things that his friend really doesn't need to know, especially at this age.]

[Skeptically] Like, if you say so...

[Wraps his arms around Liet's chest and just clings to him again] ...What... What if they like, come back for me?

[rocking him softly, trying to keep the hug as loose as possible]

Even if they do, you are not alone now. And we have friends here.
