[There's shuffling, and Lithuania's voice sounds hoarse when he speaks, not strong or happy or caring or sad as normally... Not eternally nervous like it will be much later in his live, or really scared, but there definitely is a hint of broken-ess in his tone.

Everyone is free to have noticed that Lithuania wasn't around at all after the first day, and Poland will have noticed that his partner has neither said much nor reacted to much at all after that. Everyone has different ways to deal with fear, and Lithuania's problem was that the fear had no obvious source.]

[He tries a smile. It fails, but he clearly tried.]

I guess you're right.

[Hesitates for a moment, then leans in and kisses him very, very softly on the lips.]

Totally. And... for what it's worth, I'm like, right here, ok?

[He brings one hand up to brush it over the other nation's hair and rest it lovingly at his neck.]

There's nothing in the mansion that would be more worth to me. [His children are not here.]

[Poland smiles a little more confidently this time, brushing a thumb gently over Liet's cheek. He'd be grumpy that it's just in the mansion, but... he's a nation, too, and gets that their people come first.]

Mm. I'll totally be right here by your side as long as you want me here, ok?

[It's a very different kind of being important, but both Poland and his children are loved very much.]

I like, meant more in a "here in this bed, physically next to you" way, but like, more generally? Sure. Totally. Absolutely.

[That's what getting married is about, anyway, isn't it? So he shouldn't have any hesitation to say that, and he doesn't.]

Both of those are good.

[No matter how hard on his nerves Poland is half the time, he'll still love him. Bringing this relationship on a level where it isn't something that their bosses told them to have, but that they wanted themselves bears a lot of responsibility and bounds, but he is content to have that.]

[He smiles, pressing a soft little kiss to the very corner of Liet's mouth]

Well, I'd get pretty bored staying right here forever, you know? But I can defs stay a while.

[And he doesn't ever want to leave him.]

We would have to go get food, too.

[He threads his hand through Poland's hair, shifting a bit so he is nearly face to face with the other nation.]

And we'd start to stink, after a while.

[Laughs, leaning forward until his forehead rests against Liet's]

Oh God, Liet, that's totally grody! We'd like, only have one outfit each, and they'd get super rank so we'd have to take them off, and then we'd be stuck here naked and starving and smelling all eww for like, ever.

Plus we'd totally miss our own ceremony, and how tacky is that?

[Lithuania smiles fondly and leans in to give Poland a shy peck on the corner of his mouth, letting his lips hover near that spot when he speaks again.]

And then they would come and find us like that. [He blows a little air against Poland's skin, intending to tickle him. Poland is ticklish in the strangest places, why not there?]

[Oh God, Lithuania, you just killed Poland's brain! He goes from normal to blushing in no time at all, stammering and trying to remember what Liet just said enough that he can respond to it, but all he can remember is that it was an embarrassing, scandalous thought, and Liet's breath is soft and hot against his skin, and his lips are right there and oh, God, he feels like his heart is going to beat its way out of his chest!]

[Pulling back a bit, not sure if he did something wrong and blushing hard at what he just did. And, oh dear Lord in Heaven, what if it was the wrong thing and and and and so awkward and scandalous and what if someone really walked in on them and

it felt nice and Poland's blushed face looks nice, and he doesn't really want to pull away.]

[It takes Poland a few long moments to compose himself, and he's still blushing... but then he manages a smile, wrapping his arms around Liet so he'd have a harder time pulling away even if he wanted to.]

O-Ohmigawd, can you even imagine what they'd think of us?

[He giggles--that's really the only word for it--and nuzzles Liet's cheek softly] It'd totally be like one of those scandals at the court! I mean, I guess since we're technically married already, it wouldn't be that heinously out of line, but--ohmigod. [Dissolves into giggles, still blushing brightly.]

We should make sure to keep the door closed, then.

[Poland's giggling was infectous, and soon Lithuania was laughing, too, and it takes him a while that he spends with pulling Poland atop of him and just resting his hands in the small of the other nation's back.]

I wouldn't want to become like one of those, they end with people getting angry at each other and someone's life being ruined way too often.

[Leans his forehead against Liet's again, his laughter winding down gradually]

Ah...haha... W-Well, I totally can't see us ending up like them. I mean, like, I think where they go wrong is infidelity and not trusting each other. I totally trust you, and I can't even imagine wanting to be with someone else the way I want to be with you, and I know you're super loyal and stuff, so we're cool!

[Nods.] I made a decision, and... I'm sure it was the right one. [And he couldn't be happier with it. he still feels bad about Pakistan, but seeing Poland this happy, and feeling how he feels himself, he knows that it is the best outcome that he could have hoped for.]

And I see no reason why I should not want to be loyal anymore.

[Smiles warmly, kissing Liet's cheek]

Then we're totally solid. No crazy scandals for us... not ones related to the marriage, anyway~

That wouldn't be very becoming now, would it?

[Nuzzling and cuddling and shifting a bit to get comfortable, closing his eyes. They really should sleep, they haven#t had much those last few days.]

[Follows his lead, snuggling in close.]

For sure. You like, tired?

[...Well, duh, really. He feels like he's about to just crash, too.]

We both didn't get much sleep over the last few days.
