[There's shuffling, and Lithuania's voice sounds hoarse when he speaks, not strong or happy or caring or sad as normally... Not eternally nervous like it will be much later in his live, or really scared, but there definitely is a hint of broken-ess in his tone.

Everyone is free to have noticed that Lithuania wasn't around at all after the first day, and Poland will have noticed that his partner has neither said much nor reacted to much at all after that. Everyone has different ways to deal with fear, and Lithuania's problem was that the fear had no obvious source.]

[Lithuania smiles fondly and leans in to give Poland a shy peck on the corner of his mouth, letting his lips hover near that spot when he speaks again.]

And then they would come and find us like that. [He blows a little air against Poland's skin, intending to tickle him. Poland is ticklish in the strangest places, why not there?]

[Oh God, Lithuania, you just killed Poland's brain! He goes from normal to blushing in no time at all, stammering and trying to remember what Liet just said enough that he can respond to it, but all he can remember is that it was an embarrassing, scandalous thought, and Liet's breath is soft and hot against his skin, and his lips are right there and oh, God, he feels like his heart is going to beat its way out of his chest!]

[It takes Poland a few long moments to compose himself, and he's still blushing... but then he manages a smile, wrapping his arms around Liet so he'd have a harder time pulling away even if he wanted to.]

O-Ohmigawd, can you even imagine what they'd think of us?

[He giggles--that's really the only word for it--and nuzzles Liet's cheek softly] It'd totally be like one of those scandals at the court! I mean, I guess since we're technically married already, it wouldn't be that heinously out of line, but--ohmigod. [Dissolves into giggles, still blushing brightly.]

[Poland's giggling was infectous, and soon Lithuania was laughing, too, and it takes him a while that he spends with pulling Poland atop of him and just resting his hands in the small of the other nation's back.]

I wouldn't want to become like one of those, they end with people getting angry at each other and someone's life being ruined way too often.

Ah...haha... W-Well, I totally can't see us ending up like them. I mean, like, I think where they go wrong is infidelity and not trusting each other. I totally trust you, and I can't even imagine wanting to be with someone else the way I want to be with you, and I know you're super loyal and stuff, so we're cool!

[Nods.] I made a decision, and... I'm sure it was the right one. [And he couldn't be happier with it. he still feels bad about Pakistan, but seeing Poland this happy, and feeling how he feels himself, he knows that it is the best outcome that he could have hoped for.]
